Ryan's Leadership Coaching Bio

For over 30 years, Ryan Bailey has worked with leaders of professional services firms, startups, small to mid-sized companies, several Fortune 1000 companies, and a Fortune 50 company.

While running an Atlanta-based organizational effectiveness firm, LIROS Group, he focused on developing high-performing teams.

While running 1st Principle Group, Ryan developed a Gospel-centered style of counseling and coaching that catalyzed leaders' sanctification processes.  He practices Bible-based counseling under Georgia State Law (GA Code Title 43-10A-7, b, 11.)

Ryan is passionate about developing leaders in their professional and personal lives using Biblically based principles that have proven to grow their relationships with Christ, marriages, families, teams, and companies.

He believes every leader has areas of their lives that they need to heal and areas they want to grow. Ryan loves serving his clients in both capacities.

The results speak for themselves.

Ryan completed an undergraduate degree from NYU's Stern School of Business (majored in Management, Marketing, and International Business).

He then earned a Master of Arts in Christian Counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (both the Licensed professional track and the Marriage and Family Therapy track).

He added Advanced Corporate Coaching and Advanced Life Coaching certifications from coachu.com, one of the world's first coach training schools.

Ryan is working towards a Ph.D. in Practical Theology. His dissertation centers on the transforming influence of God’s love on decision-making. In particular, how do we develop such a tighter moment-by-moment relationship with Christ that we want Him consistently more, find ourselves getting greater distance from our sinful habits, and make better decisions in our vocations? The goal of obtaining the Ph.D. is for Ryan to serve his clients better, foster greater healing and growth, and ultimately help grow his clients' love for God.

Ryan is certified in Myers-Briggs, EQ-i 2.0, Prepare-Enrich, and Serge's Sonship Apprenticeship. He also utilizes other assessments, such as CliftonStrengths 34, interview-style 360s, and form-style 360s, and is constantly looking for what will help his clients fulfill their God-given calls.

Ryan was raised in a bilingual home and is fluent in Spanish and English. His story is filled with huge hits and successes, and he leverages what he's learned from those experiences to help his clients forgive, heal, and/or grow.

He lives in the Atlanta metro area with his wonderful wife, Grace. They have three dearly loved adopted children and a one-year-old Sheepadoodle.

Ryan is a ruling elder in his church, an Adult Sunday School teacher, and a supporter of missionaries. He wants to see the Bible translated into the languages of unreached people groups.

Ryan loves Latin music, walks miles daily while engaging in YouVersion Bible devotionals with friends, and is a huge Nadal fan.  Knowing Nadal is nearly retiring, Carlos Alcaraz is next in his bullpen.
