The Daily CHEW™
CHEW on God’s Love. Live Transformed. Multiply Hope
Last Friday evening, I was tired but determined not to lose sight of what mattered most. I scrolled through my week—missed goals, a few victories, and more than a few moments where I drifted into old patterns of “just get through it.” I wasn’t sure if I’d grown or simply survived. But when I paused and looked not just for my performance but for God’s love threading through the days, something shifted. Even the small wins felt like more than just effort—they felt like grace.
Maybe you’re wired for progress like me. Maybe your week is full of measured achievements and lists, and you’re great at spotting what’s still not “fixed.” Maybe you long to see God’s love do more than just encourage you intellectually; you want to see it shape your reactions, rhythms, and relationships—a movement from head to heart.
Here’s what I’ve learned: real transformation isn’t about tallying up perfect days or feeling “spiritual.” It’s about honest, Gospel-shaped noticing—how even in faltering steps, God’s love is the quiet force underneath your growth. Performance fades; His presence doesn’t. The Gospel makes space for real, incremental change that’s honest, hopeful, and never about earning approval.
Why Weekly Reflection Matters
The journey of CHEWing on God’s love is often subtle and slow. Weekly honest reflection is the trellis that reveals how His love takes root. You don’t need to look for self-made victory—look for signs of God’s character at work in you, especially where you wouldn’t have noticed it a year ago.

Remember This
Spiritual growth is rarely a straight line and never measured by effortless weeks or constant spiritual highs. Every return to God’s love, no matter how mundane or faltering, counts. Each honest review is a chance for God’s love to move deeper—from what you know in your head to what shapes your heart and life.
CHEW On This™:
If I truly believed God’s love is patient, powerful, and never runs out for me, how would that change the way I see my progress—and my struggles—this week?
Practice in Community
This weekly template works best in community—share your reflection with a friend, mentor, or group, and let the Gospel do its deeper work.
